힐링 소사이어티 책에 이어 아마존 베스트 셀러라고 떠드는군요.

전에 구입지침이라는 판도라 상자에 올라온 글을 인용합니다.

우연히 검색하다가 이 소인배들 기어이 베스트 셀러를 만들고야 마는구나 하면 그들의 의지와 집착에 놀랬습니다.

본교 이승헌 총장의 영문저서 "HT(human technology)"가 아마존닷컴에서 1위했다는 소식이 유뉴스외 3곳에서 보도되었다. 링크 따라가 보시죠.

한국에서도 두뇌의 힘이라는 책도 천운장, 만운장을 배출하면서 7개월만에 100만부를 만들고 베스트 셀러를 만드는 이들의 사재기에 놀랬습니다.

내가 이 집단을 싫어하는 이유가 상도의와 양심이란 것이 없는 곳이기 때문입니다.
수단 방법을 안가리고 목적을 이루는 광신도들의 전형적인 모습입니다.
이렇게 이룬 베스트셀러를 누가 알아줄까요?
"그들은 너무 빨리 샴페인을 터드렸네" 라는 제목으로 시나리오를 쓰면 좋은 소재감이겠죠?
알아 갈수록 재수없는 단체...

Purchasing HT book stock from Bookstores

A. Guideline
Please purchase HT books in stock from bookstores instead of ordering from Vortex, Inc. after 50 initial copies.

B. Background
1. Among the books which are published by Healing Society Publisher, HT is the first book which is distributed in US book market.
2. Final goal is to make Sue-Sueng-Nim's books bestsellers in NY times, and the 1st step's goal is to distribute 50,000 copies in the book market.
3. Among 50,000 copies, Dahn Center will distribute 30,000 copies. When each center sells 38 copies a month, we can do it. Please make determination to sell HT to every visitor and member in your center.

Criteria of NY times best seller: Rankings reflect sales, for the week ending every Saturday (ex. June 25), at almost 4,000 bookstores plus wholesalers serving 60,000 other retailers, statistically weighted to represent all such outlets. An asterisk (*) indicates that a book's sales are barely distinguishable from those of the book above. A dagger (+) indicates that some stores received bulk orders.

　
C. Action Guide
Please order at local bookstores in advance, because it takes 2weeks ~ 1month to take books after order.

1. Barns & Nobles
(1) Barns & Nobles is the only bookstores that you can order in regular way.
(2) When you order more than 20 copies as textbook, if you ask, you can get 20% discount.
(3) When you have membership card, you can get 10% discount even at small amount of order.
(4) The price is membership card is $25, you can purchase the card with non-center-expense. But, usually double discount is not allowed.
(5) When the clerk ask you to make "corporate discount card" or "corporate account", please say no. We need to be seen as local yoga centers, not as a big corporation.

2. Other book stores (Borders, Crown, other independent bookstores)
(1) At first, bookstore clerks may say "we cannot take an order", but if you insist you need 20~30 copies as textbook, and give them information, they will take an order:

D. Accounting and BR Mnet
The account of HT books that you purchase from local bookstores is Training Supplies, and you can buy with non-center-expense (corporate card, cash, check).

1. When you purchase
(1) Input the expense and the quantity at the account of "training supplies" under "Expense" menu.
(2) Automatically, it is set as "non-center-expense" and not allowed allocation.
(3) HT receipts should be treated and submitted with same way of other receipts.

2. When you sell
(1) It is the same way with the previous way.
(2) For new members, the cost is included in registration fee.
(3) For existing members or visitors, you can input [Vortex Sales] under [Income].

　
E. Tips
1. You can find many local independent bookstores even they are not nationwide chain. When you open these places, you can have HF workshops or Open seminars and also make HT bestseller in these bookstores.
2. For example, at "Worm Book" in Sedona uptown, HT is displayed in bestseller corner already, and it is sold to visitors and travelers.
3. Madison Center in NJ DHI opens local influential bookstore. The owner was impressed and he ordered all books by Sue-Sueng-Nim.

1). 지침
센터로 최초 발송된 50권은 볼텍스를 통해 공급하나, 그 이후의 도서에 대해서는 일반서점에서 구입해서 판매합니다.

2). 배경
1. HT 책은 우리 자체 출판사(Healing Society Publisher)에서 출간한 책으로서 미국 시장에 본격적으로 진출하는 첫번째 책입니다.
2. 궁극적으로는 스승님의 책을 뉴욕타임즈 베스트셀러를 만드는 것을 목표로 하며, 1단계 목표는 올해 말까지 50,000부 보급입니다.
3. 판매목표 50,000부 중 센터판매목표는 30,000부입니다. 각 센터에서 매월 38권씩 판매하면 가능한 수치입니다. 방문자들에게 무조건 판매한다는 자세로 임해주시기 바랍니다.

3). 액션
다음과 같이 인근서점에서 주문해주십시오. 주문 후 책이 도착하기까지 2주~1달 정도 소요되므로, 미리 주문하시기 바랍니다.

1. Barns & Nobles
(1) 주문이 가능한 서점은 현재 Barns & Nobles입니다.
(2) 교재로 20권 이상 주문할 경우, discount를 요청하시면 10%~20% 정도 discount를 받으실 수 있습니다.
(3) membership card를 구입하시면 소량구입 시에도 10% discount를 받으실 수 있습니다.
(4) membership card 가격은 $25이며, 필요한 지원에서는 지원외 지출로 구입하십시오. 단, 통상적으로 중복discount는 해주지 않습니다. 즉, 20권 이상 주문하면서 할인을 받은 경우, membership 카드가 있다고 해서 추가로 할인해주는 경우는 많지 않습니다.
(5) 혹시 corporate discount card(회사할인카드)나 corporate account를 원하냐고 하면, 필요없다고 하십시오. 한 회사에서 집중적으로 구입하는 것처럼 보이지 말고, 동네의 소규모 요가센터들이 구입하는 것처럼 하는 것이 중요합니다.

2. 기타 서점 (Borders, Crown, 기타 independent bookstores)
(1) 주문이 안된다고 할 수 있으나, 교재로 꼭 필요하다고 하고 아래의 정보를 주면 대부분 주문을 해줍니다.

4). 회계처리
서점에서 구입하시는 도서는 training supplies 이며, 지원경비(법인카드,현금,수표 등)로 구입하시기 바랍니다. 서점을 통해 구입하시는 도서에 대해서는 지원외지출로 처리해드립니다.
회계처리는 다음과 같습니다.

1. 구입시
(1) [Expense] [Account]에서 training supplies에 입력합니다.
(2) 자동으로 Non Center Expense로 고정되어 있으며, Expense Allocation은 "No"로 고정되어 있습니다.
(3) 구입한 영수증은 training supplies 계정으로 회계처리해주시기 바랍니다.
(4) 도서구입수량에 비해 지출이 과다한 경우 입력이 되지 않습니다.

2. 판매시
(1) 기존 HT 판매방식과 동일합니다.
(2) 즉, 신입회원에게는 입회비에 포함해서 판매합니다.
(3) 일반 판매의 경우, [Income] 에서 볼텍스 물품과 동일하게 입력하십시오.

5). 서점구입의 Tips
1. 전국체인서점은 아니지만, 지역에서 영향력을 가지는 서점들이 많습니다. 이런 곳을 잘 뚫어놓으면 여기서 HF 워크샵이나 공개강연회를 가질 수도 있고, 자체 베스트셀러를 만들 수도 있습니다.
2. 세도나 업타운에 있는 worm book에는 현재 베스트셀러 코너에 진열되어 있어, 방문객들과 관광객들에게 판매되고 있습니다.
3. 뉴저지 DHI의 Madison 센터에서도 영향력 있는 지역서점을 뚫어, 서점주인이 HT 책 뿐만 아니라, 스승님의 모든 도서를 주문해왔다고 합니다.
